Tom is a Senior Physiotherapist, having graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of Notre Dame Fremantle in 2009 and has since worked extensively in both the public hospital and private practice systems.
Having a genuine interest in his client’s health, physical capacity and long-term well being, Tom is innovative in his approach to Physiotherapy, continually updating his practice in response to the best available evidence.
Tailoring his approach to suit the individual and their goals, Tom values in-depth assessment, education, recognition of a clear path to recovery and active client involvement as suitable for pain, movement or injury concerns.
With an emphasis on helping people better understand their pain as well as how to confidently engage with activities they find meaningful, Tom utilises graduated movement techniques drawing on his extensive training in pain science, injury management, exercise rehabilitation, movement training, strength and conditioning, yoga, pilates and mindfulness.
In addition to his clinical role at Inner Focus Physiotherapy, Tom also co-supervises a PhD student within the School of Physiotherapy at The University of Notre Dame Fremantle.
Beyond the clinic Tom stays on the move, especially enjoying surfing, rock-climbing and landscape photography along the rugged West Australian coast.
Tom specialises in Private and Semi Private Physiotherapy Sessions.
